Fuckup Museum

The Fuckup Museum *) for companies and private individuals

*) In the Unperfekthaus in Essen, successful companies and private individuals present that they are not always perfect either: failures, attempts and experiments are shown here, which we know TODAY were wrong, but which seemed right at the time. And without today's successes might not have come - because you need 10 attempts to be successful once. At least... ;-)

"Against the obsession with perfection. For the acceptance of experiments.

For the acceptance of failure every now and then"

Why? We e.gpeculiar, under what difficult conditions, with what simple means and uncertain prospects of success, even today highly respected companies and people started. This is how young people today develop the courage to dare, and the participating exhibitors are social pioneers for the acceptance of experiments and yes, mistakes too.

Your exhibition should be awakening, it should tell stories and strong images should be created. This can happen via old devices, documents, photos or even a teddy bear that was important to you or the development of your company, that tells your story. You can fill a classy, wood-panelled room, a display case, you can show pictures and videos automatically on our many monitors when they go to sleep,... Or we can come up with other options together.

„Stay hungry, stay foolish!“

Steve Jobs

In addition to permanent presentations in glass showcases, temporary exhibitions are also possible in our seminar rooms.

Your fuckup experiences can also be shown on monitors throughout the house.

The "Fuckup Museum" runs through the entire Unperfekthaus as a permanent exhibition, and temporary installations can be found in different rooms. Because we want to connect today's actions with what has become of having courage in the past. On every floor, the showcases are filled with stories that represent a completely different kind of start-up support: they encourage today's activists and they create acceptance that you can start imperfectly today.

"Because what shines today was once imperfect!"

Reinhard Wiesemann, founder of the Unperfekthaus

Let's talk. Do you dare, does your company dare to exhibit "mistakes"?
