We hold back, don't pretend to be know-it-alls and create opportunities. Because everything new begins imperfectly, needs freedom and well-meaning helpers.
Our inner cities are full of opportunities to be served, to buy, to consume. But have you ever tried to become active yourself, to find customers, partners or interested parties for your projects? That's what the MacherClub in the Unperfekthaus is for - an Essen specialty! We are a hospitable community of active people, and we utilize a wealth of resources here that are often not available at home. We have group rooms, stages, workrooms, studios, technology, musical instruments,... and members can also get areas where they can leave things or lock them away.
Your project becomes public, you have the chance to find interested parties and customers (yes, earning money is also ok with us). And no waiter pushes sales when you're there for hours. The 9€* that we expect from day guests for the care of the rooms, technology and the unlimited use of drinks machines are too expensive? Then meet up in our à la carte cafe/restaurant on the ground floor. To be too good to be true? Correct! ;-) The MacherClub is a project for all of us, and everyone contributes something. We all (guests too!) leave our campsite clean, load the dishwasher, take any rubbish home with us, make sure that doors and windows are closed when it is raining or cold and generally assume responsibility for our club. THANKS!
So that you feel comfortable
There are vending machines on every floor, and any amount of cappuccino, espresso, cola, soda, spritzer, tea, cocoa is included for members and guests. And of course you can also eat à la carte. Supporting members support the house and have free access (more...). Startups and artists can be subsidized (more...).
For your meetings
Groups of all kinds will find large and small rooms in the MacherClub, with and without a stage, roof terraces and much more. - Gladly also with great buffets or with the use of the already available buffets in the house. Unrented rooms are available for spontaneous use - you don't have to pay for the room, but we ask that you leave it tidy and wipe off coffee stains, etc. from time to time. More...

We are looking for cooperation with companies and freelancers who advertise something in the Unperfekthaus that is attractive for those active here. All proceeds benefit the creatives.
In the Unperfekthaus there is a hotel and a hostel-like large apartment. And 8 minutes' walk away you can really live in a great community with 45 others, huge roof terrace, wellness area, home cinema, etc.
